Consultation Services in Community Engagement & Health Policy provide assistance to public agencies, community organizations and clinical sites in various areas.

  • Community-Engagement & Health Policy Consultation Service ?
      Including:
    • collaborating with UCSF researchers,
    • designing and implementing community-based research studies,
    • developing an evaluation plan or dissemination plan,
    • supporting existing partnerships,
    • reviewing proposals,
    • identifying speakers for symposia, trainings, and events,
    • developing effective policy based on research evidence, and
    • determining cost or cost-effectiveness of a community-based intervention.

Get Training

Designed for community agencies and organizations.

  • Research & Evaluation Training for Community-Based Organizations ?
    3-hour orientation "Introduction to Creating Your Own Evidence."
  • Dissemination Training ?
    Free, hands-on training: Participants learn strategies and skills for successful communication of research findings to multiple audiences, including print and broadcast media, policymakers, partner organizations, and consumers.
  • Certificate Program in Implementation and Dissemination Science ?
    Translating Evidence into Practice, Policy and Public Health. One-year, part-time program focused on applied methods of implementation and dissemination, particularly as they relate to developing more effective interventions.
