I watched my husband use the tool this morning to find experts at UCSF that have a clinical, epidemiological or other T2 interest that intersected his social science interest in hunger (if yes, he was going to facilitate collaborations with some interesting non-UCSF groups). His general pattern of usage was to get a list of folks, click on a profile, then click 'Back' because he needed to explore others. That doesn't work well at all (you land on a 'form resubmit' page) In general, when you're exploring a new domain, clearly, you're going to browse your search results with a lot of back and forth. The only elements highlighted in the search results are things like 'position' and 'dept' which are actually of not much use to the user when she/he is trying to find someone that matches their need. Either we could improve navigation in general, or think about other items to show in the Right Hand Side column when you hover your mouse over someone's name in the search results. (see attachment)
